My name is Amairani Hernandez Garcia, I'm from Guanajuato, Mexico, and migrated to the United States at the age of 13. I have completed a bachelor's and a master's degrees in Mathematics, and I am currently a Ph.D. candidate expecting to graduate in December 2024 from the University of Texas at Arlington. My research area is in Lie Algebras, and I have a great passion for teaching!

My favorite show is Survivor, and during my free time, I enjoy cooking complicated meals from scratch.
