The Building Future Faculty in STEM program is a comprehensive four-day program for scholars from historically underrepresented groups in STEM to experience an introduction to the particulars of a faculty career in STEM. Participants will engage with junior and senior faculty and administration from participating institutions to learn the keys to prepare for a successful academic career.

This workshop is intended for doctoral students within their last two years of study and postdoctoral scholars. Attendees will gain an understanding of how to navigate the academic job market, the importance of mentorship, balancing expectations, and how to thrive as an early career faculty member.
