Her project incorporates 3D printed therapeutic scaffolds that can potentially regenerate cartilage and decrease damage caused by osteoarthritis. Her previous research included investigating the crosstalk between the YAP1 and RELA transcriptional regulators in Prostate Cancer and the mechanism of ID4 phosphorylation in prostate cancer. She enjoys mentoring undergraduate students in her lab, as well as working as an Adjunct Professor for the General Biology Lab at Clark Atlanta University. Her future aspirations include working for NASA and becoming an astronaut. In her free time, Jazzmin also is a member of Toastmasters International.
