Kadeem O. Hayes is from Bessemer, Alabama. He graduated from Ramsay High School in 2016. He graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2020 with a bachelor’s of science in chemistry with a minor in forensic science. He is currently a 3rd year chemistry Ph.D. student at Louisiana State University working under Dr. Kermit Murray. He is currently the President of the Louisiana State University chapter of the National Organization for the Professional Advancement of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers.
